These Terms of Service govern your use of CardCycle at cardcycle.app, including the website, dashboard, and related services. By creating an account, subscribing, or using CardCycle, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
CardCycle is a consumer software product operated at cardcycle.app. Questions about these terms can be sent to support@cardcycle.app.
CardCycle is a credit card dashboard. After you connect accounts through Plaid, we display balances, due dates, billing cycles, transactions, utilization, and spending analytics in one place. We also provide APR cost estimates based on the data available to us.
CardCycle is not a bank, lender, credit bureau, or financial advisor. We do not issue cards, process card payments to issuers, move money, or report to credit bureaus. Information in the dashboard is for personal organization. It is not legal, tax, or investment advice, and it is not a substitute for your card issuer's statements.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract in the United States to use CardCycle. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in email under your control.
You can sign in with Google or with an email verification code. You must provide an accurate email address and you may not impersonate another person or share your account. We may suspend or close an account that we reasonably believe is being misused, is creating risk for other users, or is violating these terms.
You can request deletion of your account as described in our Privacy Policy. Closing your account does not automatically refund prepaid subscription time.
Card connections are provided by Plaid. When you link an institution, you authorize Plaid and CardCycle to access the credit card account data needed to run the dashboard. Your bank username and password are entered in Plaid's flow. They are not stored on CardCycle servers. Access tokens we receive from Plaid are encrypted at rest.
Plaid access is read-only for CardCycle. We cannot make payments, change your cards, or contact your issuer on your behalf. You can disconnect an institution in the product, and you can also manage Plaid connections through Plaid. Plaid's own terms and privacy policy apply to their services.
Balances, due dates, and transactions depend on what your institution and Plaid provide. Data can be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. You remain responsible for paying your issuers on time using their official channels.
CardCycle is a paid subscription. Current plans are $2 per week, $7 per month, and $70 per year, billed in US dollars through Stripe. Prices shown at checkout are the prices you agree to pay. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
You can cancel future renewals in billing settings, which opens Stripe's customer portal. Cancellation stops the next charge. It does not refund the current period unless a charge was made in error and we agree to reverse it. Access continues through the end of the paid period.
Failed payments may result in loss of access until billing is updated. Stripe's terms apply to payment processing. We do not store full card numbers used to pay for CardCycle.
You agree not to:
CardCycle, including its name, branding, software, and site content, is owned by CardCycle and its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the service for your personal, non-commercial credit card tracking while your account is in good standing. You keep rights in your own account data. You grant us a license to host and process that data only as needed to provide and improve the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that balances, due dates, APR estimates, payment status, or analytics will be accurate, complete, or current. Always confirm amounts and dates with your card issuer before you pay.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Some states do not allow certain disclaimers, so part of this section may not apply to you.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CardCycle and its operators will not be liable for lost profits, lost data, missed payments, late fees, interest charges, credit score impact, or any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service or from data supplied by Plaid or your financial institutions.
Our total liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us for CardCycle in the twelve months before the claim. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
You will defend and indemnify CardCycle against claims, damages, and reasonable legal fees arising from your misuse of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of another party's rights, except to the extent we caused the claim.
You may stop using CardCycle and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, if required by law, or if we stop offering the product. After termination, we handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive, including disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnity, remain in effect.
We may update these terms. The updated terms take effect when posted on this page, with a revised Last Updated date. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice through the site or by email when we have a working email on file. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance of the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which CardCycle principally operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, courts with jurisdiction over that location may hear it, unless applicable law gives you a right to another forum.
